El Mexicana Temporarily Closing for Exciting Refurbishment & Bringing Don Churro In-House!
We have some incredibly exciting news for all our loyal customers at the El Mexicana Cambridge Services location (A14/M11)!
We temporarily closed our doors for a major refurbishment and upgrade that will transform your El Mex experience. This is more than just a lick of paint—we’re merging our famous Mexican flavour with a sweet, spectacular offering from our sister company, Don Churro!

The El Mexicana Cambridge site will be closed from 6th October 2025, and we anticipate our grand reopening to be on Monday, 13th October 2025.
We know this is inconvenient, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption to your regular burrito bar fix. This temporary pause is essential to bring you a truly enhanced dining experience that we know you'll absolutely love.
In the meantime, you can find your nearest El Mex @ Peterborough Services or on our website for a dose of your favourite Mexican takeaway.
